It's cool I didn't take it that way, your right these fighters are all top notch now. _________________ "It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die, than to find those who

Hey "Ryno", If you think UFC is scripted, GET IN THE RING. You clearly don't know jack about MMA, so don't pretend you do. |
You've got me. I clearly don't. Frankly I don't care to. I prefer to stick to legitimate martial ARTS, not spend my time immersed in the latest men's soap opera. Learn a little more about your topic before you go getting in a "my daddy can beat up your daddy" * contest. Find out who owns the UFC. I got involved in this topic not to bash your favorite TV show, but to speak up for a great fighter that you clearly have no knowledge of, or respect for. _________________ "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." |

I dont feel UFC is scripted. They are "real" fights kinda but they do have there limitations. It is good to know different MA's in that aspect because it seems like those guys like to mount eachother and if some dude is mounting you wouldnt you like to be able to get out of it? Can someone tell me about this Cung guy? I haven't heard of him before. _________________ #1"The road to tae kwan leep is an endless road leading into the herizon, you must fully understand its ways". #2"but i wanna wax the walls with people now" #1"come ed gruberman, your first lesson is here.....boot to the head" #2"ouch, you kicked me in the head", #1"you learn quickly ed gruberman" |

Do you mean Zuffa and the Fertitta brothers? Gee, never heard of them.
As for Cung Le, my post was TOTALLY in his favor, and your ignorance is getting worse by the day. Time to start breaking the pills in half, bud.
Just because I stated that Cung Le couldn't beat Frank on the ground DOES NOT mean I don't know Cung Le is a badass. _________________ Trainwreck Tiemeyer

You talk a lot of smack with little intellect to back it up. As for my ignorance getting worse every day, that stems directly from dealing with children like you. If you can't manage to make your point in any way other than juvenile attempts to sling insults, then apparently Mine is not the only boundless ignorance. Prove to me that UFC is not scripted. To rebut your Belief that I clearly know nothing about mixed martial arts, UFC is not a very good measuring stick for the sport. I have no doubt that there are a number of legitimate MMA competitions out there. However, UFC is NOT one of them. Do some research. Check into some of the things that went on around the time of the cable ban. _________________ "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." |

That's why I said to look into the restructuring that went on when the cable companies banned it. At one point, UFC was absolutely real. After the involvement of Zuffa entertainment, changes were made to create a marketable product that would retain the "feel" of UFC and still be acceptable to the mass media outletssss. _________________ "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." |

Rules were added in order to appease the various state athletic commissions.
If you think the actual outcomes of the fights are fixed, rewatch any of the Zuffa era UFCs, and tell me expressly which fights you feel had a predetermined outcome.
Watch Robbie Lawler flatten Tiki Ghosen and tell me he pulls those punches.
Watch any Matt Hughes fight. _________________ Trainwreck Tiemeyer

The Ryno,
Are you going to attempt to back up your accusations with any facts?
Just curious. |

I am going to move this to another area because of the direction the conversation has gone. |
