I've been looking for a place that makes custom uniforms. Not the flashy type stuff, just a regular gi that will fit nicely. I stumbled onto the Satori brand gi in my search, and was wondering if anyone here has ever heard, worn their gi and what you think about them. The company is out of Canada if that helps any. Any input would be great.

thanks

I haven't heard of them. However, Tokaido, Shuraido, and Ki make great uniforms. I've had all 3 and they've all been great. Hope this helps.

Just for info., I went ahead and had a custom fit black gi made for me by Satori gi, and so far the gi has met my expectations for the price I was charged.

The gi retains it's shape well and is not too stiff or too soft for my liking. The armpit area of the jacket has been gusseted to allow for more freedom of movement.

As for the price I paid, it sure was a lot cheaper than buying a Tokaido, Shureido, or any other top name brand gi on the market. :karate:
