First time I've ever seen this post lol but I think it's the person's choice, why would a specific religoin stop somebody or promote somebody to learn MA? _________________ I cannot prevent the wind from blowing, but I can adjust my sails to make it work for me |

Ranpu - there are many reasons if you think about it. Mainly because the religious organizations that would keep someone from learning Martial Arts if they could are pacifist and they wouldn't want to risk any of their members becoming violent by becoming capable of returning what violence they are met with.

Bubba. In laying of hands there is power. |
Like Carl Weathers in Action Jackson....
"Allow me to lay my healing hands upon you!!!" ....and then the beat-down begins. |
That is going to be my new catch phrase around school. |

I dont see why not. After all, Jesus taught to avoid a fight if you can (turn the cheek) and to settle disputes in a civil manner and amongst yourselves if you can.
MA tries to teach the same values. |
