There are a few young Korean masters doing breakdowns of Kukki-TKD Poomsae techniques on video lately. For those who are not Kukki-TKD folks, this is a bit of a novel thing for us. For a long time, Poomsae weren't really considered as important as sparring. And in the past 15 years or so, precision of technique has been the focus of study.

Its nice to see some break downs like this. I especially like to see the use of the low kicks. I look forward to seeing more.

Nice flow. I do like the simultaneous block/strike applications, and then following up with making distance and kicking.

Yeah, his applications are eye-openers to new possibilities for the same old poomsae. His use of his whole body while blocking. Many Taekwondoin talk about using one's whole body in a block, but this demonstrates it in powerful, but small movement that works.
