I read an article in Black Belt Magazine here recently on Larry Wick's Split Second Survival program. I thought that it included some good concepts in it, and would like to see it up close some day.

Here is the website: http://www.splitsecondsurvival.com/index.php

Has anyone had any experience with what he does? Did you like it? Do you feel that it has value over anything else that you have done, related to armed attacks?

First time ive heard of this system. Would be interested to see some more about it before passing judgment. But for what its worth when it comes to armed attacks/defense the best material i have found to date comes from 3 sources:

Senshido:http://www.senshido.com/
CFA:http://www.sammyfranco.com/
FFS:http://www.florofightingsystems.com/

Each one has slightly different approaches to dealing with various weapons, but combining the information from each has given me a fairly well rounded set of drills/techniques to work with.
