Hello all,
I just wanted to give you some advice(if you don't mind)about how to make an impression on your grading.
1) Do not be intimidated by your examiners attitude towards you. This is a test of psycological weakness and strength.
2) If you make a tiny slip up in your kata or something make sure that you don't notice. If you don't notice you are less likely to be bothered about it and become more nervous. It's the last thing you need to be nervous on a grading.
3) Don't be nervous. If you are nervous you are jmpy and could make moves out of place.instead relax your whole body and take a few deep breaths before starting.
4) Make sure that you know your syllabus a couple of weeks in advance to be able to brush up on weak points and also to know what's coming
If anyone would like to make any additions to that please feel free to post.
Thanx
Cya

To give that 120% you have to have no hesitation. To hesitate is to come second, and no Karateka will ever want to come second.
