I just came across The Legend of Bruce Lee on Netflix if anyone is interested. _________________ "Those who know don't talk. Those who talk don't know." ~ Lao-tzu, Tao Te Ching

I only saw the first few minutes. It is a tv series about the life of Bruce Lee in Chinese so it has subtitles _________________ "Those who know don't talk. Those who talk don't know." ~ Lao-tzu, Tao Te Ching

I very briefly watched the first episode...and couldn't endure anymore. I don't enjoy the reading and watching at the same time...one or another, but not both at the same time. It being in a TV format, I lost interest faster than a speeding bullet; what liberties did the producers take to get their story told.
It's not for me, so, I'll not entertain it.

I see there is a new movie soon to be released, centred around his fight with Wong Jack Man.

Although his daughter is already criticizing it as not being accurate . _________________ "We don't have any money, so we will have to think" - Ernest Rutherford |

I read Shannon's article about this very movie; she denounced it. Because of Shannon's opinion, I'll not watch it whenever it's released.

Shannon's endorsement or not, I'm gonna still watch the movie. _________________ "When I have listened to my mistakes, I have grown." ~Bruce Lee |

I have finally managed to view Bruce Lee: Too Young to Die which was a documentary shown over here in Blighty on Sky Arts recently.
My opinion, very good documentary, nothing "new" or "ground breaking" about it, but it did have some good insights into the man who is an absolute legend in the field. |
