Well i caint speak for others but i know after 17 years of Karatedo i would'nt work out in anything except a heavyweight gi . i prefer toyo or tokaido . there is nothing like a good heavy gi .

I am finding it interesting that the longer a person has done karate the more likely they are to prefer a heavier gi.

Do you also derive a sense of pride from keeping your gi as white as possible? Or do you have a sense of reverance for odd stains that may have developed over time?
