Hi i'm new on this board. I have been reading your posts for the past few days, some of you guys are so funny. Anyway, I will start taking my Muay thai lessons in late July or August. What should I do to get in shape in the meantime? I am 25, is that to old to start Muay thai? And I weigh 114 and am 5 whole feet tall . Is that to short for the art. I hope not. Thank you

MuayThaiGirl,

Along with your cardio preperation, don't forget to stretch as much as possible. The more limber, the less possibility for injury. Also your age and size have nothing to do with your ability, so go for it and have fun!!

Your never to old, or to small. That is the great thing about martial arts anyone can do them at any time in their life if they got the will to.

I don't think the no age limit applys to every single martial art. The age linit applys I think to fighting MAs such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai. I mean lets be honest, you wont get you old gran doing Muay Thai fighting. But your not to old to start, so just do it!
