Hey

I already had this convo with Moobrack but i wanna run it thru u guys......

Moobrack said to me his style was Atemi-jutsu. I said Atemi-jutsu is practiced in all arts, as it means the art of attacking the body striking areas (i think).

He then said his style was Ai ki Jutsu. I thought Ai ki jutsu was a more combat orientated form of Aikido (with the "way" changed to "combat art").

Anyway, I'm just checking, cos I wanna be sure what I am saying is near to the mark. Yoda or Bon, I'm looking at you........

yes - I made a mistake, as I was new to the art and had no previous knowledge of the term Atemi Jutsu!

The form is actually Ai-Ki-Jutsu

Thanx Tobias!

Any advice from anyone is much appreciated!

Someone call?

OK - Tobias - it's the other way around. Aikido was developed from Aiki ju-jitsu. Principly from daito ryu aiki jujitsu.

Here's a useful link on the subject...

I'm not that familiar with your style - but one thing I;ve learned from BJJ - spar a lot! With whoever will do it with you! For as long as you can take! This is the only way to really get good, IMHO.
