I gotta admit I like all the Wushu and wire work. Hero and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon are on my lists of favourites as is Kung Fu Hustle . Van Damme films are pretty good too and of course all the Bruce Lee movies.

Kung Fu Hustle was quite funny, I will admit that.

"Best of the Best" and "Bloodsport".

However, there is one movie that will always have special meaning for me...

I was 17, I had trained for all of 6 months, made my green belt and stopped going to karate. I was pretty much out of it all together when I went to see "The Karate Kid".

I was back in the dojo two days later.

The third "Bourne" film as I recall had some pretty good fight scenes I remember him having a rather long one with this terrorist and I remember one spot where he put him into an outer wrist lock throw and the guy did a standing jumping back flip and landed on his feet to get out of it.

Road House with the late Patrick Swayze also had some good fight scenes. I'm not sure what the name of it was but wasn't there also a recent film with Djimon Honsou that had alot of good fighting in it?

Ong Bak ranks as one of my favorites. Hero rates pretty high as well, and if I want to get a little "old school" and go back a few decades, Enter the Dragon is a great classic martial arts film.

I have got to say my favorite Karate flick lately has been Kuro-Obi!

Every Karateka should see that film!

My other tops:
The Karate Kid 1-3, (The Next Karate Kid wasn't bad, but Macchio was missing...)

Enter The Dragon

Fighter In The Wind
