I am starting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and I would like to purchase a kimono. What brands do you recommend? Also, what weave? Single, Double, or Gold? Thank you very much. |

I would recommend a fairly cheap Judogi to start with - until you are certain that BJJ is for you. Then I woulod switch to a quality product like a Krugan or Machado.
If you go for a Judogi - get it a size smaller than they recommend for Judo.

i personally prefer using a judo gi but a good jiu jitsu gi company is Atama Jiu Jitsu |

Atams is one I've heard much about...I've also seen alot written about "Howard" kimonos. Anyone have opinions? |

Hey. I would get a free uniform for signing up, so even if it's crap it'll have to do seeing as I am poor as dirt and these uniforms are expensive:) |

My Uniform is black.. all black. cause i go to Hapkido. its different to the original uniform of karate. its all black, but same as tae kwon do uniform. hapkido uniform is just colored black... |
