In japan black is the colour of death and mourning so its probably not good if its worn and other colours seem to also symbolize thigs, white would appear to be the safest option, however lol, it would look better in black !

The word uniform come from the word uni or one. A gi's color should be that of the dojo. You may want to change color only to seperate high ranking students from low ranking ones.

My personal opinion on coloured gi's is that the club should have consistancy as long as all dress the same it's ok, but having a multi-coloured Dojo looks unproffesional, the logo should be the club badge on the breast and no more.

it is substance not style or look that counts.
Wear what you want so long as it not trashy or dirty.

Just my opinion anyway.

They should always be white until you get bb. Then you can wear black.
