I saw a Systema guy on youtube easily parry a muay thai guy's roundhouse kick with one hand. If systema people's fighting abilities are real, then I would like to take systema at http://sandiegosystema.com/. I will begin training as soon as all my sprains heal. I will see my doctor soon and he will likely appoint a sports therapist for me. I thought good punches relied on structure, mass, and movement. Systema fighters don't seem to punch with proper form.

I've watched some of them, and it varies from one teacher to the next. Some seem far-fetched, others look legit.

If anyone ever throws me by waving their arms around without touching me, I will change my name to Nancy and wear a skillet for a hat.

[This is me saying the following with a sarcastic over tone, yet, a serious over tone as well!!]

There's nothing like a cooperating Uke; they help to build up ones self-esteem instead of exposing the realized truth about ones own abilities, and/or the lack thereof.

ALWAYS RESIST EVERYTHING THAT I DO...PLEASE!!

I haven't seen any of them, so I wouldn't know for sure. I've heard mixed reviews on them. It probably has more to do with finding the right Systema instructor.
