My rules of Sparring are:
Beware of anyone who grins in the face of obvious oblivion
Passion rules Reason
Never fight how your opponent wants you to fight
and of course:
Always be ready for the Zombie attack _________________ Rule one of Sparring: Beware of anyone who grins the face of obvious oblivion. |

Wow, I've been working my way through this thread (tho haven't finished yet). There are so many wise sayings on here, a few that I don't quite get, but to each his/her own. Here is my vote for the best of them all -- "Don't block with your face". Ha ha ha, if only we could always live up to that one! |

Courage is not the absence of fear. Its is the realization that some things are more important than fear. _________________ Some people regard discipline as a chore. For me it is a kind of order that sets me free to fly.
