You're sweeping up and start doing bunkai with the brush.

...the Policeman asks you what you were doing at the time of the accident and you reply "I was standing at the bus stop...in musubi dachi" as if it were a vitally important detail.

Cut your finger and kiai followed by a gykazuki into thin air.

Haha, I can just imagine that.

You choose what clothes to wear based on whether or not you can kick, punch or do kata comfortably without ripping anything.

You can't help doing a few punches, blocks etc every time you pass by a mirror, even in places other than your own home.

You are able to spot another martial artist just by looking at them for a second or two...even in a crowd.....in the dark without a flashlight.

Every time you see a person wearing a martial arts school shirt in public, you contemplate asking them if they'd like to spar. Not to prove anything, but just to get a fresh perspective.

Every time you see someone significantly bigger than you, you think of how you'd handle someone that size.

There's these 3 guys at the gym I work out at that are huge - about 6'5 and solid 275-ish. Not steroid jacked, but just very big guys. Nice guys, but I always think about what I'd have to do if one of them cornered me.
