All the teachers in my area stink what should i do?

I found my wonderful class in an unusual way. We were in the Centerville, Ohio, Half Price Books store and in leafing through books I kept finding bookmarks advertising Jinenkan Dayton. So I called Sukh, who's in charge there, since I figured I could stand a 1 1/2 hour drive once or twice a week. And Sukh said, "Oh! We have a guy where you live!"

I'd say, approach it the way you'd approach trying to find a good doctor, mechanic, or hairdresser. Read bulletin boards in stores. Read the little local advertising papers. Ask everybody you know. If there's a college in your area, call the physical education departments. Circulate! Look around! I think a lot of people these days rely too much on the Internet when looking for some service. The Internet is helpful but it's not the only thing out there.

P. S. My teacher only stinks after we've spent a couple of hours tossing each other around our 90-degree dojo.
