I found this great game in the bargain box at the computer shop and immediately got hooked. Diablo is great. I had to get the battle chest with Diablo II and the expansion. Has anyone else ever played and done battle with the dark side?

I liked Diablo 2, playing as the necromancer - however, it does get boring quickly, due to the fact that it is the same thing over and over again.
I got to the second chapter before i got bored.
I have now restarted as a soceress, and i play with my dad over a network - its ace, we shout at each othe and all!!!

I enjoy both games, but yeah, network play definitely adds a whole lot to the experience of playing.

My barbarian has made it into this wild place i level 2 where the course is walkways and stairs hanging in space all full of nasties and jets shooting out bolts of electricity. Watch out for the holes in the walkways - spikes shoot up through the. Well fire comes up sometings all the way across the walk. It's like a portal from I think the 3rd level of the celler in the palace.
Has anyone found a use for Wirt's leg?

My Barbarian Sho-Heian has completed all the quest's in Diablo 2 (killing Diablo) and was awarded the title of sir. Now time to install the expansion.
My new character is an assasin. We had a major mishap in the river of fire. We cornerd Hephasto on the stairway leading to the City of the Damned. And now we can't pick up the Hellforge hammer laying on the top steps.

I believe Worts Leg is a special item which at the end of the game does something strange.
I haven't completed the game, but this is what I've heard:
Goto city [dunno which one]. Place the leg in the horadic cube [once again has to be in a special place], and do something else [something to do with teleporters], then u will appear in a level full of killer cows.
Apparantly, the cows are ridiculously powerful, and the whirlwind attack (barbarian) is most effective.
More details can be found on a walkthrough - but like I said, I aint completed it, so I can't give more details.
Hope this helps
Tobias

Oh no! I'd managed to avoid this thread for a while, but now that it popped up on Recent Posts...well...the Diablo CD is right next to me. Maybe I could play for...just...a...minute......
