seisan in my club is use for 4th dan grading, empi for 1st kyu bassaidai for 4th kyu, 3rd kyu seunchin for 2nd kyu, kankudai for 3rd dan, saifa for 6th kyu.
I know about 5 katas, taikyoku shodan,taikyoukunidan,saifa,bassaidai,empi.

Yes, after the third punch you shuffle in, double high blocks. Pivot, arms cross and double downward action

okay, the only difference is the way I was taught, the arms cross before the pivot, the movement is a block in and of itself

not to many beginers like seisan kata but done correctly with meaning it teaches you lots of things dropping the hip being very important
