SO COOL!!!
The writing for the love scenes sucked, but that's par for the course with Star Wars. Lucas just can't write love scenes.
This isn't a spoiler (so don't be afraid if you haven't seen it yet!), but I loved the "death sticks" scene with Obi-Wan.
Guy: Would you like to buy some death sticks?
OBK: You don't want to sell me death sticks.
Guy: I...don't want to sell you death sticks.
OBK: You want to go home and rethink your life.
Guy: I want to go home and rethink my life.

The movie is awesome!
I've never really watched Star Wars before, I've always thought it was boring and never managed to finish it.
I've got episode 1 to watch and I'm gonna get the rest too.

Where'd you see it? Some friends of mine saw it opening night in Peoria, but they didn't like the theater at all. We saw it Friday night (well, early Saturday morning, really) in the Quad Cities, then I saw it again last night with my girlfriend here in Galesburg.

 from me and my kids.
I agree on the love sceens, and the death stick scene.
My only problem with episode II is I'm starting to see the uncontrolled anger start to emerge from Anikan. Sad to see that sweet little boy in episode I start to make the inevitable change.  |

I personally think that George Lucas should retire, that or be thrown off the set. They need to let the same person who directed/produced Return of Jedi and Empire Strikes back to direct these movies. I personally think that Ep1 and Ep2 are pretty weak. When Yoda was giving orders, making jokes, and making funny faces I was almost ready to leave. That was it for me.... I thought Ep 1 was really bad.. Ep2 wasn't as bad..

Episode 1 could be a lot better if:
- The whole Gungan race was removed.
- Comic Relief Jar Jar Removed
- Pod Racing Removed
- Better Plot involving Darth Maul
- Anakin wouldn't pilot ships and shoot robots
