do u think boxing and judo would be an effective combo for the street or would a different ground fighting be better mixed with boxing.

Yes, it IS a good combination,
just keep in mind this... train Judo with and without the GI. try to flow from punching to clinching to throwing to grappling.
Remeber to do a hardcore training in NeWaza (groundfighting( techniques.. Most of Judo school focus on Gi Throwing. also, try to learn a couple of set up low kicks just in case you are too far for punching.. closing the distance kicks.
Other arts that can be usefull with boxing too.. wrestling, freestyle and greco, Brazilian Jiujitsu, Sambo, Submission Wrestling...

well there could be many answers like yes and No i think it could be a good cobo for others they may same something eles!!

Even better - Kickboxing and Judo



I once studied at a place where they taught JKD and Judo - called it Kurgan Dojo

that would be an effective combo...i'm training in brazillian jiu jitsu now and looking for a place to learn thai boxing...to kinda of harness the same sort of effect you're looking into.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu + Muay Thai = Ownage
