I would think not and only for this reason.

I have read where he did lockouts with only 350. For those who don't know what a lock out is its where you just bend you elbows barely and then lock them out. This is to build explosion and is done with the most weight you can hold.

However I do have a friend who has posted here before who is only about 5'7 160lbs that benches well over 400lbs so he may have.

Tiger Woods might be in real good shape, but to juggle that with professional golf?! hmm.. not saying you're lying, but i doubt it.

as for Bruce Lee doing 400lbs... who knows? maybe in his prime almost before he picked up his back injury. but i doubt it after a bad back. i have first hand experiance of bad backs being able to bugger up *anything* as far as heavy lifting goes

The man's still a legend tho

read the golfing magazines and you hear about wood's and his workouts. juggle golf? what else does he have to juggle? the guy has a great workout plan, and is one tough cookie. who cares what he can bench. he has put on weight since he has started pro, and it hasnt been fat.

Why shouldn´t Tiger Woods be able to lift 300 lbs? One of my friends father lifts 260, and he is just lifting a few times a week.

300 lbs is easy to bench, to get to 400 takes a hell of a lot more. There is a fair bit of speculation (well documented) indicating that Bruce Lee's spectacular level of fitness was b.s.

A summary of this view is presented here:
http://www.myodynamics.com/articles/bruce.html

Who knows, who cares. There are a lot of better fighters now who are also in better shape. If you want a better model of how to get in shape for ma's check out Muscle and Fitness from a couple of month's ago and follow Frank Mir's routine. Or head over to Frankshamrock.com and read the 3-4 part series on strength building for ma'ists.
