The one thing about the spider cup itself is that it's all rubber & flexible. It makes it very comfortable, yetstrong enough to withstand a shot. The flexibilty makes it very comfortable.

The flexibility is a good thing. I saw someone get put in a very painful position with one of the old school hard plastic ones.

got the a shockdoctor compression shorts. They are great, really comfortable.

Cannot recommend enough!

The cup is a two shot moulding with a soft rubber edge, and it fits into a front pocket. The tip of the cup is quite narrow and it therefore less noticable - I htink this was what made my jock strap box uncomfortable.

I would recomend the Shock Dr. with their titanium cup. All Shock Dr.'s cups are comfortable and protect well and as for the titanium it's head and shoulders above the rest.
