its the ability to continue punching really fast and hard...wing chun incorporates this through close in fighting in which they can generate power without having to pull fist back as far...it is bruce lee's 1-inch punch...many other martial artschain punching is very similar...its not really a technique more like an ability...some people have been known to do 12-15 punches withing a second!... tkd incorporates chain kicking in which a person can do many kicks in a given time! |

also chain punching aloows a person to "roll "into a an attack with very little blocking you can hit people in between certain moves

12-15 punches within a second?!! That I'd hafta see. I couldn't even imagine that. I can't even wiggle my fingers 12 times in a second, LOL. |

spinning gumby you gotta realise how long a second actually is, on average a person can speak 300 words per minute that round about 5 words per second, and most people could do a punch per word said, therefore that five punches per second, and everybody should be able to do that, so if you practice it , i would expect that 12 punches per second doesnt seem to be so far fetched |
