Well, maybe go back a few more times to the Lau Gar club, and see what you think of it. You've already noticed differences between LG and karate; if you can handle doing two similar yet different MA's then I'd keep going with it. If you think that doing both together might be too confusing, then it's probably best to just stick with one for the time being.
You're from England - check out www.ukjudo.freeservers.com to see if there's a club near you that you might not know about.

What's the big deal? Go for a month, then decide from there. If they want to make you sign up for a 6 month package deal or something just forget them.

No its not like that, u pay for ur licence and membership anually which is £38 ($54) and then u either pay as u go, or u can pay monthly for one lesson a week or two.
anyway i'll give it a few weeks and then see what happens.
Another thing, I keep seeing ppl doin loads of cross-training on the forum, some do like 4 or 5 arts, whats the deal with this, are these ppl experienced black belts in their arts and finding new skils.

Some people are 75 years old, and some are just...migrant.

migrant - One that moves from one region(art) to another by chance, instinct, or plan.

Other people have just been doing martial arts for a friggin long time. They don't do 5 arts consecutively, they've done 5 arts in a lifetime.
