Any pointers are welcomed. Should I stick down this path or does my technique need fundamental change in anyway?

I tried to keep it compact, sharp, powerful, and economical all at the same time.

I wasn't able to view the video.

Shadowboxing is a proven and vital aspect of training across the board. It's better to do, than not to do, providing it's being performed correctly, and under the eye of an experienced instructor.
