I can only hope this is humour.

I buy belts for 5-6 dollars cdn which are jukado brand. I've worn one straight without dye running and I've also soaked my last few to help take out the stiffness. Even soaking overnight the water only took up a slight tinge.

As for washing the belt, I do it every couple of months. As a mudansha, I end up changing belts after a few washings anyways. The only thing I have about washing belts is they shrink a bit. I can see arts where you rarely grapple or roll on the ground being cleaner, however never washing seems extreme.

geez Angela, of course it was humour (hence, the SMILEY FACE)

but...i think everyone here would agree if there was once thing of poor quality that existed in the school, i would prefer it was the uniform or belt, instead of the art itself.

dont read too much into what is said, you set yourself up for dissappointment when you do

Aye, same thing happens to the gi itself, which is why you should purchase one that is one size larger than your comfort fit, then wash it once or twice... then hem if necessary.

Well sorry, but judging from some of your previous comments I couldn't be sure.

Oh in case you're about to get offended, I invoke the power of... THE SMILEY FACE!!

I am friendly with everyone. Forums without arguments... I mean debates .. would be very boring places indeed.
