This is not the first, and it won't be the last. I've even seen movies out of the far East that put humor into the martial arts.
I have also had friends/business associates poke a little fun at me. Especially since Kuk Sool Won doesn't sound as cool in english as lets say Tae Kwon Do. But, it was not meant maliciously, and I'm sure most of these movies are not either.
Remember, people tend to mock what they don't understand, or what they feel they can never achieve. |

everyone in the martial arts gets the * ripped out of them or doing it. They say its crap and that its for girls. I tell them to come to my karate school for a couple of weeks and then see whos the girl.

Mockery is a form of flattery. This movie is a tribute to martial arts, while at the same time making fun of such silly things as belts and Chi. I love it!
