Angie, don't worry. I thought I was horrible at Kata. I vowed to myself never to do it, ever. Now, I love Kata. Not as much as Kumite, but I still love Kata. You will get your competition ability back. Maybe you just need a break. Just don't take too long. The longer you wait, the harder you have to work to get back in.

Here how it went. For my kata group i did quite well with a good score but didn't come anywhere in the placings. And my fighting.....what can i say........I didn't do as well as i had hoped! 
There is another competition this Sunday so I'm deffinatly going to do better in this one!! It's the Northern regions in Barnsley and i'm doing a demonstration In the finals with a friend and a little guy who gets to beat us up!  Should be fun.
I'll let you know how it goes!

Chris, dont worry about it (i should take my own advise here) everyone does great sometimes, then other times not what they had hoped for, but as long as you had fun, and believe enough in yourself to get back out there, that's all that matters!! i now sound like my mum!! so just get out there on sunday and KICK SOME *!!!!
