Star Trek, uh, Joe do you live in a vacuum?

Man Star Trek has what is probably the largest group of cult followers than anything. Haven't you ever met a trekkie?

We have the Klingon Batleths through my business KoldSteel Enterprises. As far as the kata for that is concerned....it is something that you would have to use your imagination for.
I would love to see a good showmanship routine that employs a batleth....that would be entertaining non the less. Try it, maybe I'll see ya on the tournament circuit...ya never know.

Hasta!!

Star Trek and Dungeons / Dragons are taken too seriously..

Go rent the Movie Trekkies, its hilarious..

The weapon is a neat concept, I dont know how effective it is though..

I find that much we do with weapons training gives a good deal of internal pleasure. There are very few "traditional" weapons one can walk down the street with today. I think much of why we continue to study them is because of the way we feel when we are training.

Of course there is always the possibility that having learned weapons techniques with a real weapon in a real life situation any common object at hand can be used with similar motions.

Everyday things like telephones can be used as a weapon if you know how to swing a nunchaku. And there have to be so many other examples out there.

I finally found out what a klingon weapon was and they're pretty cool.

This is probrably one of the funniest post, yet. I watch reruns of Star Trek when I have the time. Be awesome to see a kata using a batleth.

Actually you can get hold of ones with live blades, you just want to be very careful about not cutting your own fingers off.
