I wasn't sure where to put this thread but anyway. I'm in kickboxing and I'm going to be leading the class in the warmup and after that i have to take them through some combinations. The class ranges in skill. I just need some simple combinations that i can do with the class. If anyone has any ideas i would really appreciate it.

Well think of what you do for a warm up in class, then do the same.

I always love kickiboxing classes. There are some good ones. Just simple front kicks with 2 punches at a fast cardio pace is a GREAT way to have a good workout.

Jab-cross
Jab-cross-hook
Jab-cross-hook-uppercut

Jab-jab-hook
Jab-jab-hook-knee
Jab-jab-hook-knee-elbow

See a pattern here? Just add till you have a drill of 3-4 techniques...do each one 3-4 times...then move on. You'll find that this is much easier for beginners to handle and advanced students should be able to refine these basics as they warm up. Good luck!

I agree, ninjanurse. Our school does the above stuff as a warm-up. I think it's great, because I get warmed up, plus I get to work on combos at the same time
