I'm glad to be told that I'm doing well in kyokushin, but when someone remarks on it what do I say? Osu? Or more than that? Or something I don't even know is out there.....? Please help! _________________ "I think therefore I am" Rene Descartes |

"You ain't seen nothing yet"
Seriously, osu is fine. That's what everybody in my dojo use in that situation.

Well, there's always :
1. Falling to the ground and kissing their feet.
2. Slipping them a $20.
3. Or a simple "Thank you" would suffice. |

Thank-you.
My advise to you is keep working hard on advancing your skills and see if the complements follow. Good for you, it's always nice to know you stand on positive ground in the eyes of your peers. _________________ "And it is this lack of fear that makes for the dance" - Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Do it the Japanese way; you do nothing or you say "I am still practicing, you are being too kind" |
