I just saw this style name on a couple of posts and I know nothing about it? I was just curious about its principles, techniques, history, etc. Can anyone help me out?

it's also known as chinese street fighting style. It's a very effective fighting art. It is not a sport and has no rules, it has everything from biting, clawing, striking, groin grabbing or striking, throat strikes, dim mak ( a nerve or pressure point tactic to kill or serious inujury someone in one blow ) It was brought to the west by Jimmy H Woo, he had the original books that had the teachings in them.

It's arguably one of the most effective stand-up fighting methods.

I think it's more effective than Krav Maga. San Soo doesn't have high kick and flurries of punches, it's straight to the real aim of Martial Arts, to kill or maim. It's simple and deadly.

Aznkarateboi,
Arguably,I agree, but any fighting art can boast they are arguably the best.
Lets not beat around the bush here, that is what you are saying when you say the most effective.
I and certainly many more do not exept that as a truth.

No the best I've trained is Budo Taijutsu. Check San Soo out and see for yourself.

Budo Taijutsu used to be called Ninpo Taijutsu which is a modern Ninjutsu in the sense that there are only 3 Ninjutsu Ryu taught. There are 9 schools of fighting 3 are Ninjutsu Ryu and 6 are Bujutsu Ryu. Most of the Ninjutsu Ryu died out and only these 3 are left. So technically it's the only legimate Ninjutsu being taught. Grandmaster Hatsumi changed the name to Budo Taijutsu because of the stigma Ninjutsu had in the eighties during the big Ninja craze. He didn't want to be associated with that narrow view of Ninjutsu Hollywood created, so he changed the name to Budo Taijutsu, which in my opinion is more accurate anyway.
