This is a question to see what people think about the NHB competitions. I dont really have much of an opinion on this one. The UFC is probably the most popular. I think they all are close to the same.

The first 15 or so UFC's were great. IMHO. Pride gets the better fighters now, they pay better! The matchups are sometimes a bit dodgy in Pride (what is with Rickson and these no-namers  !?) The UFC has SO MUCH ground and pound now, it gets so boring - this is what the WWF converts want to see, but for me, a grappler - seeing Tank Abbot like beatdowns is so annoying! I think the women in Hook N Shoot will make women's MMA much more popular - HOORAY!

I like pride a lot. They just seems to make the best matchups.
BUT myNHB favorite is KING OF THE CAGE.
They have a home base and create a good mix of house fighters, big name stars - like Shonie Carter and now Dan Severn, and youg up and comers, grudge fights and titile bouts.
I like the independent feel it keeps while it is moving to an A class promotion. It also seems to have a strong draw to nonMMA fans.
Near Chicago the Iron heart crown is putting on better fights all the time their October 26 card will be outstanding.
Of course in my totally biased opinion - SHIDOKAN the triathalon of martial arts - is the best. |

i like pride because these fighters fight with class and with heart and are the best of the best not like in the ufc where they just put the guy up to the fence and punch him out

I preffer Pride, they have more organization than UFC and others, and they fight card is the best out there.
