well yesterday i was at taekwondo, and i haven't been there for like a month. anyway, we were doing a lot of cardio stuff, and all the sudden i became a bit dizzy, and my legs felt so weird that when i tried jumping with them, it felt like i was standing on rubber band or something, basically felt like i was gonna fall and pass out. i tried to breathe and i found it really hard, like somewhere around my lungs it hurt a lot to breathe in deeply. does anyone know if this mean i have asthma or anything else? and is this normal? i'm kinda worried i might have asthma, plus my endurance went really down after a month. please reply back, thanks. |

I'd say lack of water/food before taining and pushing yourself too hard when you've been out for a month. Next time you go, eat some carbs and drink water before you go, all should be sweet then.. It'll probably take you a little while to get back into it like before though.

Did you eat a lot of sugar before class? If so then you probably just had a sugar rush combined with exhaustion and adrenaline from the class. If not then its most likely because your stamina has fallen, a month out does that unfortunately, and you tried to push yourself too hard too fast.

You probably just didn't drink enough water or maybe had too much sugar like ckdstudent said ( maybe soda pop or something) but asthma can also make you feel like that. It's possible to have a slight case of it that you only notice when you exercise. If it happens now and then and maybe you hear something when you exhale hard, you need an inhaler to use before class. It will help a lot if you do have asthma. |

To say not to worry about it is ridiculous. I would call your doctor to discuss that just to be safe. Make sure if you start feeling that way again to stop what you're doing and rest.
