Thought I'd kick us off on our New Year's Resolutions.
For me I want to:
1. Get more consistent in my own training
2. Grow my club to 100 members (starting the New Year with 32)
Anyone else want to share their goals? _________________ "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius

My New Year's Resolution:
1. Lose weight (but still be the Fat Cobra)!
2. Increase the size of the ShuBuKan. _________________ Yondan in Ryukyu Kempo

Just change the “Fat Cobra” to “Phat Cobra” and it’ll be a smooth transition |

2019 goals...
1. Be done with the disc issue that’s kept me off the floor since October.
2. Test for shodan*
*By test for shodan, I mean being truly ready - drop weight, be stronger and more flexible. I’ve got the mental part. I just need to sharpen up and get into the physically grueling test shape. |

This year I'm shooting pretty high
1. Get certified as a d-level instructor & d-level judge
2. Get a tenure-track faculty appointment
3. Start a university karate club
I fully expect this to be a major challenge to do in my first year of trying, but here goes nothing! _________________ "My work itself is my best signature."

Always hard setting these yearly goals, but important. So, here we go:
Grow Academy by 10 percent.
Maintain 4 day/ week average in training.
Get back into a weekly dose of PTK.
Maintain 2-3 days of additional conditioning.
Be smart enough to not aggravate injuries while trying to attain points 2-4. _________________ http://alphajiujitsu.com/

Best of luck on the tenure-track job! I'm not sure what the market looks like in your field of study, but things are pretty flooded for mathematicians. _________________ 5th Geup Jidokwan Tae Kwon Do/Hap Ki Do
