Hey something I've noticed for a while but never mentioned before...
I seem to have pain in my forearms sometimes. When weightlifting, there is a sort of sharp ache in my forearm, which I also experience sometimes when punching quickly. Any ideas what it could be? |

....no comment Jiggy9. I even knew what Bon was implying!
but, sounds like you just might be bending your wrists plain and simple (at least that is when I get pain like when doing upper cuts to bag when my wrists tend to bend slightly) Keep fists tight and wrists straight.
You just might be developing those forearm muscles too which might tend to feel sore after training.

Pain closer to the elbows is usually from over use. It might help to stretch and warmup the forearm tool. Use simple things like extend your arm in front and keeping it still just rotate the hand from palm up to palm down.
Also are you doing things to help strenghten the grip?

Haha Bon, good one btw I already have someone... anyway!
I do what everyone has said already anyway (Except Bon, heh) and Sai. Mabye I should work on squeezing some tennis balls to work on the grip.
ROFL, whatever I type today seems to come out meaning something completely wrong :/ |

You guys are to funny
Here is an exercise several old weightlifters do: take a full sheet of newspaper....hold your arm out in front of you palm down...put the center of the paper in your palm and start crumpling it into a ball...be warned tho, you may have some sore muscles after this exercise |
