I was going to mention North Korea but ITF taekwondo is very similar to Karate.

The way they kick and punch is almost identical to Tang Soo Do which is Korean Karate.

I think I'd beg to differ. The ITF the North Koreans are doing are heavily laden with sine wave motion, and the performance of their forms will not resemble much of anything like Karate or TSD.

China, North Korea and South Korea all have national karate organizations that are affiliated with the Asian Karate Federation, which is part of the World Karate Federation (WKF):
