Or perhaps don't care?

Apparently his prefight scuffle with Cormier was too much and Nike decided to drop him. I understand that professionals must be held to a high standard as public figures but I'm not sure about this one. They dropped Pistorious and I agree, they dropped Rice and I agree, they dropped Jones and I disagree. He mixed it up with his opponent at a prefight media event. He didn't hit his spouse, or his child, or even an innocent bystander. I think this was a knee jerk reaction. Your thoughts!

Honestly, I was surprised by the move, but I don't agree OR disagree. They decided that what he did reflected poorly on the image they want to portray, and that's really an evaluation only they can make. If I were in their shoes, I probably wouldn't have pulled the sponsorship. Then again, if I were in their shoes, I wouldn't be sponsoring Jon Jones to begin with.

No real view on this one. I guess on the issue of sponsorship, it depends on what the terms and conditions were for it and if he broke any of it.

Nike recently dropped Adrian Peterson, as well.

I agree with their choice to do so. I don't like to these kind of pre-fight actions, either, and wouldn't want my sons to see them as an example of how a person should act. In the end, though, since he was representing Nike, its up to Nike to decide whether or not that is how they want to be represented. So, I'm good for it.

I've no comment, as I haven't seen/read anything about the incident. Inasmuch, it's Nike's call, and they've that right!!
