I have pain in the heel of my right foot. I've had it for about a week now and it hasn't gone away. I think I got it from practicing too many jump front kicks and trying to land on my right foot.

It hurts to put any weight on it or when I run.

Anybody have any good tips on making it feel better?

Other than the obvious don't land on your right foot!

Thanks!

Wow what a reference Kickchick. Heel spurs do show up in x-rays. Mind showed up real well anyhow. I had success with the iotopheresis treatments to reduce the inflamation and a taping technique.

You might also try thermal contrast. Put the heel in a bucket of hot water then ice the area alternating cold and heat. Finish with the heat.

Ultimately I wound up wearing shoes in class.

Well....I feel the pain in the heel...but when I touch the heel it doesn't hurt.

It hurts when I touch around the heel right below my ankle. It throbs...!

Thanks for the help guys
