Also there is this one lady at my dojo that makes a lot of racial comments but she does it in a light hearted way so I'm not 2 sure what 2 say about her.Example we were doing kumite applications and she told me go in there and show them wut u got with your latin flavor " move those hips."Because they wanted us to be in constant motion being that we were trainig for kumite.

I have really not noticed any rise in racism, i havent noticed racism in general in the MA community.

Yea that post was a little off. This is what I mean, maybe she wants someone else to express her feelings of racism so she might make a comment now and then to see your reaction. If positive she might increase the jokes and if negative she might stop all together. In this situation she might be testing to see how you stand in her "world". |
