Anyone know of any superior speed training drills? I mean, i know that you have to train speed in all aspects, with many different drills, and i do currently do that...but i was just wandering if there is anything out there that i haven't yet tried, that might be interesting. Thanks

We do a specific drill called speed drills, essentially though its just a combination designed to be slightly unwieldy, so getting it fast takes that little extra work and improvement on shifting.

For kicking- Get a kicking paddle and have someone hold it. These are prob. the best training tool for speed kicking. Have someone stand with th e paddle by their hip and then quickly move it up and as soon as you see them move the paddle you throw your roundhouse kick and try to kick it.

One drill that I like for speed and focus training is hanging a pc. of regular 8x11 paper from a string and practice my strikes on it.

Once you've comfortably increased your speed and developed your focus, try to cause the sheet of paper to tear in the middle with a back hand strike. Samw would apply if working kicks.
