Hello..
As i posted before, i have some pain on the lower back while im running.
Can you tell me routine that i can do, something that helps my cardio with almost the same results so i don't need to run for a while i give my back some rest??

I don't know of any, that wouldn't hurt your back, without buying a machine. |

Perhaps biking?
You can always do lots of fast powerful punches from Horseriding stance, that is sure as hell good cardio as well
Squatting leg thrusts are good too |

Stationary bikes are good. Just keep up the intensity. The new elliptical trainers are excellant. The ramp heighth can be adjusted to simulate various activities. And because it is no impact it does not cause back pain.

How about Cardio-Kickboxing I don't run any more since I brew out the meniscus in my left knee, so no more shock absorber

Maybe treadmills or steppers would be better. Swimming is great and jump rope is a good workout I hate running...BUT...I still keep doing it |

try walking for about 3 miles at a brisk pace;i'm serious; i found that walking as a supplement to my karate helps work out the soreness in my muscles, dosen't dip into my recovery reserves, and leaves me with more mental and physical energy for my actual karate training!!! |

Interesting, briusmc. Infact it is indeed possible I'd believe that going for a brisk walk in some nice surroundings could invigorate(sp?) the mind and body for some training
As cardio exercise goes SubmissionFighter, Rowing, Biking, Horseriding punches, anything like that will be great cardio for you |

I agreed with Bon. If your back is not in a terrible shape, try working it out using Deadlifts or Wide Grip Row. As for a cardiovascular substitute for running try jump-roping for 15 mins, then working on a heavy bag for 15 mins or shadow boxing with foot-work. Just something to keep your blood flowing. |
