More pasta, beans, fish, and nuts = carbs, protein, fiber, fats = good gas. Boom!

Usually u can't go wrong with lots of complex carbohydrates (i.e. fiber, not simple sugar), fruits, vegetables, fat free yogurt, lowfat protein, and um I can't really think of any more.

By the way it's a lot easier to tell people what to eat than to actually follow your own guidelines, LOL. I have a weakness for many many things.

On a side note I have read that drinking or taking in some simple sugars (i.e. fruit juice or small candy bar) is somewhat beneficial after long periods of exercise in order to replace the glycogen in your muscles.

van_damme, eating the right foods is very important and is helpful with definition, but if you don't accompany this with any sort of strength training, you will not be getting the best results you can.

Considering your age, weight training is a bit risky since it could cause a whole host of bad effects, but if you added some pushups, pullups, and abdominal exercises then you would be helping your aim a lot more than simply eating the right things. Good luck

I'd imagine that the water would hydrate the body, while the sugar would quickly restore Glycogen(sp) to the muscles. You could get a similar effect with a glass of water and a seperate sugary food like an apple, or candy if you have a sweet tooth.

I don't know if this is right, but I think after a workout eating foods high in protein like meat is good because it repairs your muscles and helps make it bigger or somethin'.... I could be wrong though, I don't pay attention in school much, so don't take my word for it.
