I am curious to know how the majority of you work out. What you do, when you do it, how often, for how long?

On top of my classes i workout at least 2 hours a day, four days a week... I centre my workout around weights, skipping, and shadow boxing. I occasionally run and do heavy bagwork.... No workout is complete without crunches... I try to do 1000 reps at least on my stomach, even if i'm tired, i have to do this... I tend to clam more than i crunch but clamming's harder.

Shadow boxing is also very good for my heartrate, hooey it gets goin!

Any replies are appreciated!
Angus.

I work on push ups and sit ups. I do very little weight training because all the strength I ever got was from Karate. There are some katas like Sanchiin which, if done properly, can make you work a lot of muscles; quads, hamstrings, calfs, obliques, abs, pecs, deltoids, brain, etc.

Keep working

I use my handweights every day for 30 minutes or so. Then I do 50 sit-ups, 50 push-ups, and 50 for my back. It's important to maintain a balance in your muscles.

From September-April I go to Gymnastics and swimming, which is good excercise for the entire body. Between May and August I workout in the gym.

Sometimes shadowboxing. And yes it is very exhausting over long time periods!

Ahh well rushman, i am smart... plus i have a lot of time

Sometimes i post messages between reps of weights! (i do them in my room cos i live on a farm far away from a gym).

I oly have 12 hours of university classes per week and i seem to be able to get my work done VERY quickly. I'm just a machine i guess.

Later dudes,
Angus

Yep... I don't believe i'm better than anyone though... that is "i'm good but everyone else is better"...

One quote from an old discussion i had with a bloke was: "I'm not the best fighter in the world, it's just that everyone i've faught has been crap!"

Respects,
Angus.
