Mine is to walk 100 miles a week spread over 5 days.

Am finding out that if not having or keeping proper posture my hips will start aching.

Do you have a fitness challenge and how is it working out for you?

I don't have a "challenge" per se. But my current goal is to get back to strength training regularly, and start pushing into some new PRs. That, and more regular TKD training.

Worth remembering.

Quote- "Time spent on self improvement is time never wasted!"

I was told these words by a gymnastics teacher near 50 years ago.

Amazing how just a few words of encouragement can make such a huge difference to one's outlook on life.

Thank you all for sharing your journey together we will go far.

We just wrapped up our Dojo's annual "Legends of the Fall" Weight Loss Challenge. This is a 10 week weight loss challenge with those participating getting weighed after class every Friday. It ended last Friday, and the 1st Place winner lost over 6% of his body weight. 2nd Place (which was myself) lost over 5% of body weight. 3rd place lost over 3% of body weight.

It was a good challenge.

On a strict weight loss mission once again. I finally got a bike, so I ride my bike quite a lot nowadays. I drive to a secluded spot every other day to jog as far as 5K. I still go to the gym, mainly for the swimming pool which went from just on Saturday, to Saturday and Wednesday; I do 10 laps...that lap pool is pretty long.

With my personal medical fights, exercise is tantamount for me across the board. My emotions tend to hit me on nearly daily; can't work out when I'm bawling...I know...I tried and it never ends up well for me because I am no longer focused on my surroundings.

Without challenges; my life would be so darn boring...and I mean B O R I N G.

*EDIT: I can't spell sometimes

I was trying to get up to running 3 days a week, but I think 2 is the right number because 3 is just making me a bit too sore. But will still do 3 some weeks, probably.

Sounds great there, Patrick.

After all, some is better than none. On the heals of that idiom, there’s, no pain, no gain.
